MV Hanseatic I 1960 Cruise liner HAL Line Germany

A superbly detailed waterline model in 1/1250 scale produced in Germany in the 1990s by Classic Ship Collection and long out of production.

In need of some careful restoration work!  The model has come loose in transit at some point and has suffered damage to the masts, rails and rigging. The model itself isn't damaged but the delicate rigging has been mostly lost, the handrails are still all in place but need a little straightening in places, the lifeboats have become detached and I think 2 are missing.  The railing on top of the rear funnel have come off and the davits which are in copper wire need patience with a pair of tweezers to get back in shape. Not an easy job but worth it for a model that was well over £100 new.  I think there are 2 ways to go with it - either restore to original or a simpler option might be to cut off the masts and remaining rigging and fitting simpler masts and no rigging.   I have kept the price reasonable (and a lot less than I paid for it!) as I think it is important to keep models in circulation  Approx.166mm long overall.
