David Carter's Marnix Van Sint Aldegonde as a LS(L) & Noordzee

This is a picture of the conversion project mentioned in my recent newsletter kindly written by David Carter, an extract is below:

I always wanted their Marnix Van Sint Aldegonde as a LS(L) but never could find or afford one so back in 2011 I decided to try my hand converting a Hein Muck resin model of the liner as converted as in WW2.

The photo below shows the result. The front model being my conversion with the actual Noordzee behind, yes I did eventually find and afford one.

I guess their are plenty of waterline collectors like me who enjoy the challenge of such a conversion to simply acquiring a model and putting it straight into their display cases. Parts from Water-line Ships play a big part in my modelling, thank you Martin.
