SS Jan Wellem 1921 Germany Whale factory ship unp

A waterline model in metal in 1/1250 scale  produced in Germany in the 1970s by the highly regarded maker Mercator and long out of production. 

Unpainted and with masts/derricks in original bag and still on sprues. Never been painted and was sold as such in the 1970s by Navwar in the UK who used to obtain a few unpainted models direct from Mercator for a short time. Approx. 120mm long.
