HMS Queen Elizabeth RN Battleship 1930s 1:1800 scale

A solid cast waterline modelin 1/1800 scale in lead alloy produced in the late 1930s by UK toy company Timpo. Produced as a rival range to the more well known Dinky models of the same scale.  With name cast beneath. The model is in very good original finish, with just a little wear to paint, mainly along hull sides and complete with delicate mast etc intact  Approx. 104mm long.

A nice  model from the early days of waterline ship models and seldom seen.

These early models do contain lead so are not suitable as toys or for those under 14 years of age.
