HMS Furious RN Aircraft carrier 1930s 1:1800 scale vg

A solid cast waterline model in 1/1800 scale in lead alloy produced in the mid to late 1930s by UK toy company Timpo. Produced as a rival range to the more well known Dinky models of the same scale. Much better than the Dinky range in my opinion, cast in lead alloy so not prone to fatigue like the Dinky models often are.  The model is in very good original finish, with just few very small chips to paint and solid cast. .Approx. 125mm long.

A nice  model from the early days of waterline ship models and seldom seen.

These early models do contain lead so are not suitable as toys or for those under 14 years of age.
