Hosho Japan aircraft carrier 1920s Wartime recognition model

A scarce model handmade in wood probably   by E Matthews of Bombay who produced models for the UK military in the far east.Made for the RN/RAF during WW2 as a recognition model or training aid. In 1:1200 scale. The model is in  original finish,  missing  mast and funnels and needs a little restoration

An early model  I would guess. With handwritten name 'Hosyo' 'AC1'and' J 65' also with makers initials.

I try and keep prices for these recognition models as reasonable as possible as I am more interested in these models going to someone who will preserve and restore these historic models.

Approx.136mm long.
