A scarce model handmade in wood by a commercial company for the RN/RAF during WW2 as a recognition model or training aid. In 1:1200 scale. The model looks like it may have been repainted, the paint is quite thickly applied. Largely complete , masts needs repair/straightening main turrets free to rotate.

The name label is missing but most probably by E Matthews of Bombay who produced models for the UK military in the Far East. Marked beneath'Bogue AC2 and 52/142 and a set of initials of maker, denoting a model made for the RAF/FAA

I try and keep prices for these recognition models as reasonable as possible as I am more interested in these models going to someone who will preserve and restore these historic models.

Approx.154mm long.
