Nurnberg 1930s Germany cruiser earliest version slate cast

A scarce waterline model in 1/1250 scale in metal by the well known German maker Wiking. Produced in the 1934/5 period

An interesting, early slate cast model by Wiking from their earliest production. With raised portholes. In very good original finish, Paint nice and bright still and obviously out of the light for most of its life.  A little wear to paint on deck edges in places but overall very good for a 90 year old model. Turrets are rivetted on and complete, with ships name on port side of stern hand applied by the factory. The stern flag pole is externally attached denoting an early example.   -Can't be many left in this condition and a chance to own a lovely period model from the ear ly days of ship collectiing. Approx 139mm long
