Yamato 1941 Japan battleship Very early Neptun

A very scarce,  nicely detailed waterline model in metal in 1/1250 scale  produced in Germany by the highly renowned Navis-Neptun company

This is an early model produced in the late 1960s by Neptun when they were using single or two digit numbers rather than the now familiar 4 digit ones.  More simply cast than the more familiar later models, this is an interesting piece in the history of the company, showing the evolution of the maker over the years.  In very good original finish with main and secondary guns free to rotate.  Marked beneath simply with the trademark 'N' the name Yamato and the number 7.  Approx.210mm long.
